Problem and goals

Problem

Most product pages overwhelm users with choice. Without clear hierarchy and trust cues, shoppers bounce before they reach the cart.

Goals

Create a shopping experience that guides users naturally from discovery to purchase — clean layouts, confident CTAs, and a system that scales.

Process

From structure to polished components — each phase focused on speed-to-clarity for the user.

01
Information architecture
Mapped user flows, page hierarchy, and shopping funnel to define content priorities.
02
Design system
Built tokens for color, spacing, and type. Defined card, button, and input components upfront.
03
Desktop layouts
Designed home and product pages for wide screens — generous whitespace, strong grid.
04
Mobile adaptation
Translated every screen to mobile-first — stacked cards, tap-friendly CTAs, optimized imagery.

Colors and typography

A deep indigo-led palette — authoritative and premium. A single bright accent for actions, balanced by neutral surfaces.

Key Learnings

What I learned building this

01
Grid systems drive consistency
A strong base grid makes responsive adaptation much smoother and keeps visual rhythm intact.
02
Design from mobile first
Starting with the smallest screen forces ruthless prioritization of content hierarchy.
03
CTAs need contrast and space
Action buttons buried in visual noise lose clicks. White space and contrast direct the eye.
04
Versioning surfaces decisions
Designing multiple versions of the same screen makes the right choices clear through comparison.
